So you see, it appears as if Major League Baseball has decided to sell ads not only on the walls, not only over the PA, not only with the names of the parks themselves... but on the bases. Good Lord. Even Fay Vincent, who once was commish of baseball and also president of Columbia, says that it's sad.

I'm not the kidn to claim that baseball is a pure game--but jeebus, ads on the BASES? Who will look at those? Seriously? Mask handouts at games, sure. Ads on the walls and such, sure.

But the BASES?
