So several of the Sacramento radio stations were having a fundraiser this weekend for the UC Davis Children's Hospital. I was on my way to pick up my car and was listening to the jazz station, when a Josh Groban song came on with the voiceover of an interview with a small eight year old boy. Now, having been aware of this fundraiser all weekend, it didn't bother me so much until the interviewer asked the little boy if he was afraid to die. He said no, if he died he would be in a better place where there wasn't any pain.

I want to live in a place without pain. But at the same time, I wouldn't sacrifice all the good things in life to get it.

I do find it interesting that such profound things come from such small minds. Maybe Holden Caufield was right, you have to save the children, because the grown-ups are just a bunch of phonies.

I don't know exactly what it is I'm trying to say, I just thought I'd type what was on my mind. I miss you guys.
